Truffles, foie gras, Mont Ventoux meat, exceptional French wines, what else can you ask forin a French restaurant? Chez Serge is one of the best and most popular restaurants in Carpentras, a town in the Vaucluse department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azure region (southeastern France). It's a destination for the French gastronomic lovers.

Proprietor Serge Ghoukassian is not just your typical person because he was awarded as the Best Sommelier of France in 2018 by the Gault et Millau Guide and again, the following year, The Best Sommelier of France in 2019 according to the Michelin Guide. Needless to say, the wine list is a highlight in dining at Chez Serge.

For the past 30 years of operations, Serge's restaurant had seen a very good flow of loyal clientele and a a frequency of foreign guests. The dishes are executed well by his young kitchen team that is headed by Chef John Ellis. The kitchen creates an exclusive line of gastronomic French delights following the regional flavors and aromas with sparks of innovative ideas. The fresh ingredients are sourced from the local producers when possible.

In summer, summer truffle proposals are also available and the restaurant opens its outdoor dining at the cloister of the restaurant wherein a century-old tree gives shade to the tables.

For the Black Truffle Menu consisting of the appetizer, main course and dessert, the price is €109. With the additional platter of cheese, the price is €119. For the à la carte entries of the Black Truffle Menu, the price ranges are as follows: appetizers are between €35 - €39, main course of fish or meat at €55, cheese plate at €15 and dessert at €25.

The lunch proposals are easier and more economical at €32 for the Le Menu Bistronomie. For the à la carte entries, the price ranges are as follows: appetizers are between about €13 to €15, main course of fish or meat at around €25 and dessert at €10.
