Slow Cooker Honey Mustard Chicken

There's nothing easier than to gather a few ingredients, throw them all in the slow cooker and just forget about it while you mind other things. And I can even say that it's pure magic when the dish that was so effortlessly put together is a big winner. Slow cookers are really great help in the kitchen. With its slow cooking at a low temperature, the flavors blend amazingly well while the meat becomes very tender. I especially like using it when I am cooking chicken because I find the meat to be more tender than usual and the absorption of flavors is ten times more.

This Slow Cooker Honey Mustard Chicken only has honey and mustard as the main ingredients that give the tastes. If you like the mustard with the seeds in it, use the wholegrain one. It's my favorite kind of Dijon mustard that I usually cook with plus the seeds are a healthy addition to our diet. If you don't have it, use the regular yellow Dijon mustard. I never tried cooking this with other kinds of mustard so I can't guarantee that they will taste the same.

I understand that fresh rosemary can be tricky to get so you can just omit it or just use the dried one. I have a couple of plants at home and since they are perennial evergreens, they are always available with those fragrant green needles of theirs when I need them for cooking. Tip: It's a great low-maintenance herb to keep at home that is so useful in cooking or even drinking tisanes or herbal teas.
