A Glass of Strawberries With Limoncello & Mint

I'm on to the last batch of stawberries I bought.  I prepared them the only way my 5-year old would eat them.  Halved or quartered with white sugar & a light squeeze of a lemon.  He's in berry heaven when he has a bowl in front of him.  For us adults, I prepared it the typical Italian way.  Like my son's but with a dash of Limoncello & mint leaves.  Sometimes I couple it with Vermouth or just Vermouth alone.

A Glass of Strawberries With Limoncello & Mint

Yields 4 servings
  • 1/2 kilo strawberries, halved or quartered

  • a shot glass of Limoncello or Vermouth or both
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar (adjust according to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
Directions:
  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a mixing bowl.  You can adjust the amount of the ingredients according to your liking.
