Torres Viña Esmeralda Summer Party at Madeiterraneo in Rome, Italy

24 June 2019, while the sun bathed the Roman sky with beautiful hues of orange, the Rooftop Terrace of Madeiterraneo Restaurant on the 7th floor of La Rinascente hosted a party tinged with green. Viña Esmeralda Summer Party, organized by Boldrini and Familia Torres presented Torres Viña Esmeralda Summer Edition 2014, an aromatic blend of Muscat of Alexandria and Gewurztraminer. It's a wine that the Torres Family created to celebrate the Mediterranean coasts with its fragrant fruity and floral aromas which embodies the magic of summers in the Spanish coasts. Along with the wine, Michelin-starred chef Riccardo Di Giacinto created some dishes that go well its floral and fruity flavors and delicate acidity.

Familia Torres Winery is a family-run business that was founded in Penedès (Catalonia, Spain) in the year 1870 by Jaime Torres Vendrell and his brother Miguel Torres Vendrell. Historically, their ancestral line can be traced back to the 17th century as already a family of vintners. Over the years, their initial production of brandy (which was declared later on as the best in the world in 1997), progressed to modern wineries that are also present abroad, Miguel Torres Chile in Curicò, Chile and Marimar Estate in California, U.S.A. At present, the fifth generation of the Torres Family running the wineries while their wines, present in 150 countries, continue to receive awards and recognition all over the world.

Madeiterraneo is a restaurant on the 7th floor of La Rinascente in Via del Tritone in Rome, owned by Chef Patron Riccardo Di Giacinto, also the chef patron of one Michelin-starred Ristorante All'Oro. His menu consisted of Panna Cotta all'Amatriciana, Pistachio and Mortadella Macarons, Maritozz'Oro Burrata and Anchovies, Tuna Tartare, Grilled Octopus with Foam of Paella Valenciana and Chorizo, Pizza all'Amatriciana, Riassunto di Carbonara, and for dessert, his representations of Profiterole, Tiramisù and Fruit Skewers.
