India Estate (Summer) Opening Weekend in Rome, Italy: 15-17 June 2018

INDIA ESTATE (or India Summer in English), one of the most enchanting spaces in Rome comes to life! The outdoor areas of the Teatro India will host a summer event for the first time in its location in the post-industrial heart of the capital, among the ruins of the former Mira Lanza complex at the foot of the Gazometro. Every evening for 7 days a week, the stage of India Estate will host about 20 performances of Italian and international artists.

The opening party weekend of the India Estate is scheduled from the 15th to the 17th of June 2018 starting at 17:00. The street food area is unmissable with the great myth of the American TBB on wheels by TBSP (The BBQ & Smoke Project) and Pizza Box of Condominio Marconi. Craft beers are available at the Craft Beer Station by Birra del Borgo. The food & beverages focus on big local names and the new trends of the street food scene.

India Estate is born from a perspective of redevelopment of the various areas of the city and the most suggestive sites of industrial archeology in the Ostiense district, an area that in recent years has experienced a revival focused on the authentic and innovative proposal of street art and entertainment in the broadest sense of the term.

The architectural project was designed to blend perfectly with the surrounding space and is completely environmentally friendly according to a broader view of eco-friendly use of metropolitan areas and respect for natural resources for a zero impact urban planning policy.
