The Kitchen and the Menu

At Allegrìo, two distinct culinary worlds of Italian cuisine and Neapolitan pizza converge, each with its own unique identity and dedicated team. Led by Executive Chef Daniele Creti, the restaurant embraces a culinary philosophy that honors tradition and quality. From signature dishes, traditional to seasonal offerings, Allegrìo promises an unforgettable dining experience where quality ingredients always take center stage. Creti's dedication to sourcing the finest ingredients is evident in every dish.

As the seasons change, so does Allegrìo's menu, wherein the new dishes are proposed monthly based on what the season takes out. For the arrival of spring heralding the Spring Menu featuring dishes like L'Uovo agli Asparagi, where three main components play integral roles: organic egg fondant, asparagus cream and Parmigiano Reggiano, or the L'Ortolana pizza where potatoes, chicory, black cabbage, tomatoes, sprouts and bran pepper create a harmonious topping to the pizza.

Whether it's the organic eggs from a small farm in Sora, the bacon from Reggiani, the dried pasta from Pastificio Garum, or the pecorino from Cibaria, each component is carefully selected to ensure unparalleled flavor. Even classics like carbonara receive a touch of extravagance with their signature pasta, "La Carbonara My Way" (€45 for two), prepared in front of the diners then adorned with 24k gold. It would be interesting to know how the flavors of the Parmigiano Reggiano evolves over time. You can satisfy your curiosity with one of their signature appetizers, "The Time of Parmigiano" (€20), a vertical tasting of the world famous cheese starting from 24 months of maturity to 36, 48, 60 and finally 90 months.

The pizzeria at Allegrìo, helmed by seasoned pizza chefs Peppe Aiello and Ivano Veccia, is a testament to Neapolitan culinary excellence. Renowned for its perfectly balanced crust with a veil of crispiness enveloping the soft internal part, topped with classic flavors and seasonal offerings, Allegrìo's pizzas delight every pizza lover who enters the restaurant.

Here too you can choose between the always present pizzas and the seasonal ones which change seasonally and even monthly. For lovers of classic flavors, the Pizzaiuolo pizza is worth tasting, which is provola and pepper made with 7 different peppers, but also the Capricciosa with a collection of ingredients that are chosen for the best qualities they give like the artichoke cooked under the ashes, the roasted artisan ham and the milk cream from the alpine Bruna cows. The Lasagna Povera pizza, reminiscent of the aroma of freshly-baked lasagna as you pull it out of the oven, is minimized with only three ingredients and is able to captivate the palate with the explosive flavors of San Marzano tomatoes, milk cream from the Bruna cows, and oregano from Ischia island.

No meal at Allegrìo is complete without indulging in the delectable desserts crafted by Pastry Chef Mario di Costanzo. Drawing inspiration from both Roman and Neapolitan traditions, di Costanzo's creations are as visually stunning as they are delicious. The dessert menu includes timeless classics such as tiramisu, delizia al limone, maritozzi, babà and pastiera which remain on the all year round.

Complementing the experience is the meticulously curated wine list and impeccable room service, overseen by sommelier Davide Gelormini. Whether it's a glass of fine Italian wine or a handcrafted cocktail from the drink list of Zodiac Cocktail Bar inspired by the zodiac signs representing different combination of flavors.
